Chickenstock Music Festival Ltd takes the privacy of all its customers and users very seriously. The Festival strives to take great care with customer and user information. This Privacy Policy outlines how your personal information is collected, used and treated as part of the terms and conditions of this site.

We have tried to make this policy as clear as possible, but your personal information and identity protection is important to us, as it should be to you, so please take time to read this information.

Chickenstock Music Festival Ltd may at any time change this policy by publishing a new version on the website. The latest version was update on 17th June 2023. 

This Privacy Policy covers any personal information we might collect from you or which we have obtained about you, from you directly or from a third party: (1) where you have registered an interest in attending the Festival, (2) where you purchase a ticket, or are offered a complementary ticket, to attend the Festival, (3) where you provide services to us as a Supplier, crew member, volunteer, or performer, (4) when you interact with our social media channels, (5) when you visit our website at www.chickenstockfestival.co.uk.  

Photographs & Video Images

Your image on a photograph or video, that you could be identified by, is regarded as personal information by the Information Commissioner's Office.  Photographs taken by our official photographers will be posted on social networking sites, our website and future marketing materials.  All images used will be for ligament business interests including marketing purposes.  By purchasing a ticket for you, or for a child, you are agreeing to our privacy policy.  You agree to the images of all people in your party (those for whom you are buying tickets for regardless of age) being included in these photographs. If you wish to withdraw your permission, you must contact Chickenstock Music Festival Ltd.  For adults, please contact us via email at info@chickenstockfestival.co.uk prior to the festival beginning so we can discuss options for you.   If you have a child, or children, who will be coming to the festival, and you do not want their images to be used, please make this known when you are at wristband exchange so that your child can be given a different coloured wristband, indicating that they cannot have their picture taken by our photographers and used on our website or on marketing material.  It is the parent/carer's responsibility to make sure that this is done.  Reminder notices will be at the wristband exchange areas.  Unless the alternative wristband is requested, you consent to the child's image being used.  We will not publish any names with images.  If an image is published, you can request to have this removed, but we cannot guarantee that all copies of the image will have been deleted.

 

No pictures will be taken in areas of showers, toilets, medical areas, quiet areas, baby changing & nursing facilities or security areas, or where the person could be judged as being inappropriately dressed. We cannot be held responsible for photographs and videos taken by the general public attending any of our events or what they do with them, but if you are unhappy that your image is being taken, talk to a member of the security team immediately and identify the person who has taken the images, and Security will ask them to delete the images in their presence.

There will be notices in the programme and at the main entrance, regarding photography and use of images taken.

Security Cameras

All Licenced Security Staff will be wearing body cameras  Any footage recorded will be passed to law enforcement agencies and the event Directors in the event of need, without requiring permission of attendees in the footage.

Privacy

The Festival may collect certain specific personal information from our website, telephone calls and written correspondence to provide our customers and users with an individually tailored range of services.

We may, for example, keep a record of your name, mailing address, home telephone number, mobile telephone number, e-mail address and preferences.  We do not store any financial information.  

What do we do with your personal information?

We may use your personal information to inform you about forthcoming festival events, news and offers which may be of interest to you. You will receive information by email.

We may also use your personal information to communicate with you, for record keeping purposes, for marketing purposes, but you can contact us at any time via email to info@chickenstockfestival.co.uk if you wish to have your personal details removed from out system.  

Use and disclosure of personal information

Your personal information will be disclosed only to relevant representatives and working groups of Chickenstock Festival. Only necessary information is disclosed.

All reasonable steps are taken to ensure all information is accurate, complete and up to date.

We will not sell, distribute or disclose your information to third parties. 

Accessing and updating your personal information

A request for access to your personal information must be in writing addressed to Chickenstock Music Festival Ltd. We will grant access within 30 days.

Security of your personal information

We take reasonable steps to protect all of your personal information we hold, from misuse and loss and from unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. This protection applies in relation to information stored in both electronic and hard copy form. You accept the inherent security risks of providing information over the internet.

Your personal information will not be used for any unrelated purpose without your consent.

By disclosing your personal information to us, by using this website or by telephone or written correspondence, you consent to the collection, storage and processing of your personal information by Chickenstock Music Festival Ltd.

Duration that information will be retained.

All information provided to Chickenstock Music Festival Ltd, to express and interest in the festival or to purchase tickets via email, SMS, social media sites, in writing or over the phone, will be kept for a duration of 5 festivals.  Images will be kept indefinitely as a visual record of the events.

IP Addresses

Your IP address will not be stored when you access the Chickenstock Music Festival Ltd website. 

Cookies

We use social media channels (including Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, the “Social Media Companies”) to publish information on the Festival. When you interact with our channels, the Social Media Companies may also process your personal data for their own purposes.
