Useful Information about Chickenstock 2025

We cant wait to welcome you to Chickenstock Music Festival 2025

Below is useful information about this years event including arrival details.

Arrival

The campsite opens at 12 noon on Thursday 31st July.

You will be pitched up in order of arrival. If you are planning on coming with a group and want to be close to each other, you will need to arrive at the same time.

Electric Hook Up Pitches and general camping are in separate areas so if you have ordered Electric Hook Up but other members of your group have not, you will not be able to be placed together.

The post code for the event is ME9 7RN and will be clearly signposted from the A249/M2 roundabout.

THERE IS A 5 MPH SPEED LIMIT ON SITE.

This is for your vehicle and personal safety.

If you are arriving on Saturday please note there is a large Scouting Event taking place around 4 miles from our event, at The Kent Showground on the A249 Northbound from Maidstone to the M2 with over 9000 Scouts being dropped off for a Jamboree. Traffic at the top of Detling Hill may be affected.

The Field

All camping, parking and the Arena are in the same field so you are never too far away from your car etc.

The field is just that - a hay field, and may be uneven in places. The field was mowed last week, but please remember it is a countryside hay field so there may be the occasional wild plant growing (including thistles and stinging nettles) although we have done our best to get rid of these.

Fires, Portable BBQs & Chinese Lantern are not allowed due to fire risk as even if it has rained, the grass dries out quickly as we are on chalk downlands.

Also we would appreciate it if you did not bring glass onto the camp site if possible, but if you need to, please dispose of these items carefully.

Entry to the Arena

Wristband Exchange is right next to the main gate. You will need to show your ticket or QR code to get your wristband.

It is part of our licence that searches of bags etc need to be carried out before you can be admitted to the Arena. It is also a condition of our licence that no alcohol, glass or illegal items can be brought into the Arena. Soft rinks are allowed but must have the original seal unbroken.

Our male and female security team at the gate are lovely and will carry out these checks as quickly as possible.

Disabled Attendees

If you have limited mobility we have a designated camping area, just let the stewards know on arrival.

The Disabled toilets and Shower will be locked with a RADAR padlock, so please remember to bring yours with you. (if you forget we do have spares but these will need to be returned after each use)

Dogs

Dogs must be kept on leads at all times and please clean up their mess. If you run out of bags we have spares!

Water bowls will be available in the main Arena, but please do not remove these, as they are for everyone to use.

There is a very local 'Pooch Paddock' about 5 mins from the campsite, which you can book for private use.

To book this visit their website www.pettfarmpoochpaddock.com

In case of Emergencies

While you are at the event we have a designated phone number which is to be used in the event of emergencies ONLY ie lost child or medical emergency. There will be 2 Security stations in the camping area which will be staffed 24 hours a day.

This emergency number is 07936 424714

Finally

We hope you have a fabulous time at
