Our responce to the Covid-19 Outbreak

Dear Chickenstockers

I am sure this will not come as a surprise, but following the Governments announcement on 16/4/20 to extend the lock down, we have decided to postpone Chickenstock Festival until 22-25th July 2021.

We have had confirmation from 3 Daft Monkeys, Show of Hands and Hayseed Dixie that they will headline next year instead. We will keep you informed but hope that all the performers booked for this year will be able to play next year.  Many have already confirmed that they will.

Tickets already purchased for this year will be valid for Chickenstock Festival UK 2021, and as a thank you for your support, next year, we will have music on the main stage from Thursday 22nd July from 3pm at no additional charge, giving you even more music to look forward to!

We will also be keeping ticket sales going at the current price until Thursday 23rd July this year (when the Festival was due to start). Any profit from ticket sales will go directly to the artists as a prepayment of up to half their fee to help them financially through this difficult summer. Many of them are full time musicians and self employed and are really struggling to make ends meet at the moment.  Some will not be covered by the Governments help for the self-employed in June. If you have not yet purchased your tickets and would like to support the performers,  please click the button below to go to our web site. When tickets go on sale for 2021, there may have to be a price increase.

We are extremely sorry that we have had to make this decision, but the safety of you, our guests, performers, staff and volunteers has to be our top priority.

Please stay safe, stay home, and stay hopeful that by this time next year things resemble normality again.

With warm regards

Moya & David Taylor
